On March 30, 2026, Abdel Rahman Hamza Al-Rob, 31, an active officer in the Palestinian Authority police force in Tulkarm, accelerated his vehicle toward IDF soldiers at the Enav checkpoint. The IDF soldiers, acting resourcefully, neutralized him on the spot, thereby preventing a larger attack.

The Fatah movement’s Jenin district branch, the movement of the PA Chairman, issued an official ‘Shahid’ (martyr) notice for him. His family members, who eulogized him on social networks, had previously posted statements praising the October 7th massacre.

In the morning hours of Monday, March 30, IDF fighters operating at the Enav checkpoint under the Ephraim Brigade, near Tulkarm, identified a vehicle accelerating toward them. The terrorist sped toward the fighters, who opened fire and neutralized him. There were no casualties among the IDF fighters.

The attack was carried out on Arab Land Day, a day that for decades has been accompanied by a wave of violence and attacks against Jews in Judea and Samaria.
