In recent months, we have identified a growing trend of deliberate poisoning of animals in grazing areas throughout the Binyamin Region, carried out by Arabs from nearby villages.
Since January 2026, 15 poisoning incidents have been documented, five of which occurred in the past two weeks alone.
The data indicates a recurring pattern of placing poison in water sources and food in order to harm livestock and other animals in grazing areas. Below is a detailed account of the incidents, including documentation from the field.
Incident 1 – May 5, 2026 – Binyamin Region
Terrorists from the village of Al-Mughayyir in the Binyamin Region infiltrated the grazing lands of a Jewish farm near the Alon Road during the night and poisoned nearly ten water cisterns in the area.
The terrorists broke locks securing some of the cisterns and poured a toxic substance mixed with oil into the water. The oil was intended to ensure that the poison would float to the surface and be drawn up in the first bucket of water collected for the livestock.
Around noon, a Jewish shepherd from the farm arrived to water his flock at one of the cisterns. The shepherd noticed a suspicious substance in the water and immediately prevented the sheep from drinking further. Within minutes, several sheep began displaying severe poisoning symptoms, including foaming at the mouth and convulsions.
The shepherd alerted other farm residents and security forces, who launched searches in the area and discovered that the remaining nearby cisterns had also been poisoned. The shepherds began administering emergency veterinary treatment to the affected sheep, while police forces collected evidence from the scene.

Incident 2 – July 7, 2026 – Shalisha Farm
A poisoning incident occurred in the grazing lands of the Jewish Shalisha Farm, apparently after poison was introduced into a drinking trough.
As a result of the poisoning, two sheep died and approximately 15 others suffered poisoning symptoms of varying severity.
A police forensic team arrived at the scene and collected samples, and the incident was referred for further handling by the military.
Attached are photographs of the affected sheep.

Incident 3 – July 12, 2026 – Tel Talpiot Farm
Arab terrorists from the village of Qusra infiltrated the grazing lands of the Jewish Tel Talpiot Farm in Samaria during the night and scattered poisoned dates as bait for the flock.
Two guard dogs that reached the area before the flock ate the poisoned bait and began displaying severe poisoning symptoms within minutes.
The Jewish shepherd noticed the symptoms and immediately moved the flock away from the area. However, both dogs died from the poisoning. A goat that consumed the poisoned bait also died.
“This has already become a regular pattern of operation. Terrorists arrive under the cover of darkness, scatter deadly poison, and return to their village without interference,” residents of the farm said.

Incident 4 – August 19, 2026 – Binyamin Region
Terrorists from the village of Abu Falah infiltrated the grazing lands of a Jewish farm near the Alon Road and scattered poison concealed inside dates and pieces of dry bread.
The Jewish shepherd noticed that sheep that had eaten in the area began convulsing and dying, and alerted other farm residents.
The residents arrived with anti-poisoning medication and attempted to save the sheep that had been exposed to the toxic substance.

Incident 6 – August 30, 2026 – Binyamin Region
Terrorists from the village of Al-Mughayyir infiltrated the grazing lands of a Jewish agricultural farm near the Alon Road in the Binyamin Region and placed poison in drinking troughs located in the area.
Jewish shepherds who arrived to water their flock noticed that some of the goats that had drunk from the troughs began displaying severe poisoning symptoms, including foaming at the mouth and convulsions.
Three goats died from the poisoning, while several others remained in serious condition.
Residents from nearby Jewish farms who rushed to assist in treating the animals with antidotes were attacked with stones by dozens of Arab rioters from the village who were gathered nearby.
IDF forces dispatched to the area pushed the rioters back toward the village and launched searches for those responsible for the poisoning.
Three Arab rioters were reported wounded by security forces’ gunfire during the attack on the shepherds.
